Small Saints

People of all ages and stages are a valuable part of our community. Children and families are always welcome at our Sunday services.

We start our time together with some opening prayers and music then we have a children’s talk or video related to the bible readings for the day (sometimes the adults prefer this to the sermon). After the children’s talk the children head off to do their own activities related to the theme of the day. We come together again for the end of the service.

When we have a communion service, in the Anglican Church anyone who is baptised is welcome to receive communion including children.

We want to be a community where everyone belongs. We understand that sometimes babies cry, need to be fed or changed. We know that children sometimes like to dance, or ask questions, or get a bit restless, or want to join in with everything or are sometimes shy. Churches are sacred places and like all of us children experience and respond to that in their own way.
