All Saints at Methven

Worship services are held every Sunday at 11am, followed by lunch, year-round and at 6.30pm during the winter season.

In 1880, a small church called St Barnabas was opened in Methven. In 1884 St Barnabas was completely destroyed by a nor’west wind. The current building was originally built as All Saints at Sherwood (20 km away from Methven) and transported using two traction engines to its current site.
In 1888 the church in Methven was renamed All Saints.
The extension (known as the Parish Centre) was added to the church in 1999. The stained glass window, donated by Ngaire Dalton was dedicated in 2000 with the Lych gate opened to mark the 125th Jubilee in 2005.
